Purpose:
Did
you know Meeteetse School has participated in a Yellowstone Cutthroat Trout
program for the last two years? For the past couple of years Trout Unlimited,
Game and Fish, along with students from Meeteetse School have participated in
field days, fish tagging, telemetry, fly-fishing, habitat restoration, and fish
biology around our local Greybull River. We would like to extend this program
into our classrooms starting March 6th by including middle school
students. Wyoming Game and Fish, along with Trout Unlimited will teach an
entire interactive fish biology unit to our middle school students.
Students
are asked to obtain any assignments/ homework from their classes prior to
Wednesday’s fish unit.
